Agency Delay

The Agency Delay is a simple digital delay that puts all the power in YOUR hands! You can completely make it your own, in true Ableton & M4L philosophy, by deciding how bonkers you want to go with routing & processing! It's your call!

In Internal Feedback mode, this device acts like a plain & simple digital delay. But when switching to External mode, you gain full agency over the effect: you can route the feedback line to and from anywhere in Ableton (or even external processing) directly from the drop-downs, or you can route into and out from an Ableton track directly, using input and output 3/4 of the device itself, which should show up in the track's routing drop-downs, like here on the right.

Now, it's all on you! You could make it sound like a dusty old tape delay by putting some filtering, some vibrato for some warble, and even add some tape hiss or crackle in the mix.
Or you could go all out with pitch shifting, verbs, resonators, and all of it together at self-oscillating feedback levels for some WILD sounds. The possibilities are truly limitless!
